AIG Auto Insurance announced a 5 percent rate decrease for Colorado motorists.
The move will impact insurance rates on over 10,000 vehicles for drivers insured by AIG subsidiaries The Insurance Company of the State of Pennsylvania, Birmingham Fire Insurance Company and Commerce and Industry Insurance Company.
Company spokesman Peter Tulupman said favorable actuarial trends in the past year enabled the rate decrease.
