Manufacturers' Qualification and Validation Program, a firm that certifies collision replacement parts, has hired Kirk Hansen as director of new business development. He will work with insurance claim and material damage executives to promote aftermarket parts and manage the needs of collision repairers.
Most recently, Kirk served as vice president of insurer relations at Independent Mitigation and Cleaning/Conservation. Prior to that, he was director of claims with the Alliance of American Insurers, a national trade association.
