The Professional Insurance Agents of Florida (PIA) chose new officers to lead the 600-member trade association. They took office Oct. 1.

Lori Williams, CIC, AAI, is the association's newest president. She also is president of J. Meyers Insurance Group in Orlando.

Bob Fowinkle, CIC, CLU, is president-elect. He is owner of Moore Fowinkle & Schroer Agency in Bradenton..

Phil Zelman, vice president and owner of NCF Insurance Agency in Coral Gables, is vice president, and will assist with budget and membership efforts.

Doug Whitaker, president and owner of Harrell Agency in Jasper, will oversee PIA's finances as the secretary/treasurer.
