Anchor General Insurance Company has selected ADP's Claims Services Group managed repair solution to administer the carrier's managed repair programs. The technology and services will streamline appraisal assignments and accelerate the claims process.

International Marine Underwriters, a member of OneBeacon Insurance Group's specialty segment, has chosen the Genoa insurance technology from Oceanwide Inc. to support the carrier's cargo insurance platform. Oceanwide offers Web-based cargo insurance management software.

Penn National Insurance, a property/casualty carrier serving nine mid-Atlantic states, has opted for Dialogue software from Exstream Software, Inc., to supply a single comprehensive infrastructure for its batch and real-time document applications.

Penn Treaty American Corp. has purchased the Fiserv Insurance Solutions ID3 system to replace its internally developed legacy system and support the carrier's strategic growth initiative in the long-term-care insurance market. CUNA Mutual Group has joined forces with Fiserv to enhance the delivery and presentation of CUNA Mutual's payment protection products during the loan origination process through integration with the technology solutions offered by Fiserv business units.

Aetna has signed a multiyear agreement with Fiserv Health to expand access to Aetna's PPO network and stop-loss services to each of the Fiserv Health third-party administrators.

Allied Specialty, Sutter Health, and United Insurance have implemented Prelude's PayPilot disbursement suite to issue and reconcile payments from different bank accounts. PayPilot interfaces with different systems to help streamline payment processing.

Sierra Health Services, Inc., has selected Siebel Healthcare from Siebel Systems, Inc., to target and acquire new customers while also retaining and growing its existing customer base.

Amica Mutual Insurance Company, a direct writer of personal lines insurance, and Guidewire Software, a provider of solutions to property/casualty and workers' compensation insurers, announced Amica has chosen Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new claims system. Merastar Insurance Company, offering employer-sponsored personal automobile and homeowner's insurance, has deployed Guidewire ClaimCenter, replacing the insurer's legacy COBOL-based system. The Main Street America Group announced it also is using Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new claims processing system to support all lines of business and phases of the claim process.

BISYS Specialty Programs, a subsidiary of BISYS Commercial Insurance Services, Inc., has implemented INSTEC's QuickSolver commercial automobile and general liability rating and policy administration solutions.

Farmers Insurance Group, a provider of personal lines property/casualty insurance, has utilized ViewDirect TCM from Mobius Management Systems, Inc., as a strategic solution for delivering diverse information to employees and independent Farmers agents nationwide.

Allmerica Financial Life Insurance and Annuity Company (AFLIAC) has entered into a long-term agreement to receive business processing services from Security Benefit.

National Life Group has picked the Paisley Solution from Paisley Consulting to manage internal controls, streamline continuous regulatory adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley, and enhance its long-term risk management strategy.

Kenya-based ZEP-RE has licensed SICS/nt, the international insurance and reinsurance solution from Computer Sciences Corporation, to administer the company's reinsurance processes. ZEP-RE is CSC's first SICS/nt customer in Kenya. In addition, CSC announced its VANTAGE-ONE life insurance and annuity administration software has enabled Aviva Life Insurance Company to launch its agency sales channel.

Aviva Life Insurance Company also has opted for Edgewater Technology to develop a new system for automating the assembly of life and annuity contracts.

Gore Mutual Insurance Company has agreed to adopt and roll out the Symbility Solutions, Inc., mobile claims system for its property claims across Canada. Gore Mutual will have all field adjusters processing property claims through the system.

Security Mutual Insurance Company has adopted technology from Common Census, including ND Enroller and Common Benefits. Together these technologies comprise a benefits operating system, now coordinated with Security Mutual's portfolio of worksite products.

Mutual of Omaha has implemented SunGard's COMPASS enterprise group benefit administration system. The carrier created a sales force dedicated solely to group life, disability, and dental products and purchased COMPASS to support product development, billing, collections, and administration and to help it manage its group life, disability, dental, and voluntary insurance offerings.

Industrial Alliance, Canada's fifth-largest life and health insurance company, will implement Global IQX automation solutions to streamline sales, underwriting, and the renewal processes.

QBE's Australia Pacific Asia Central Europe Division has acquired Pegasystem's PegaRULES Process Commander as part of an initiative to use rules-driven technology to enhance the company's business process management capabilities. Highmark Life & Casualty Group has deployed Pega Customer Process Manager solution framework to support the company's sales and service throughout the U.S.

Dongbu Insurance, Korea's second-largest non-life insurer, has chosen Accenture to enhance its accounting and financial management operation, improving operational efficiencies and increasing financial data transparency.

Florida-based SUNZ Insurance Company has selected the OASIS solution from Delphi Technology Inc. (DTI) to manage the carrier's workers' compensation line of business. California Healthcare Insurance Company, Inc., has implemented the full suite of DTI's OASIS insurance software solution.

Farmers Mutual Protective Association of Texas is the first to utilize the new integrated capabilities from Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., and the Insurance Information Exchange. The integration provides insurers with IIE's A-PLUS claims history reports through Duck Creek's EXAMPLE Platform.

The Economical Insurance Group has enlisted ILOG JRules for its new automated underwriting system that will handle both commercial and personal lines of business.

Friends Provident is deploying Verint Systems Inc.'s ULTRA solution to deliver analytic-software-based solutions for communications interception, networked video security, and enterprise business intelligence and enhance the service Friends Provident provides across 14 customer-service locations in the United Kingdom.
