FileNet Corporation, a developer of enterprise content and business process management solutions, today announced the finalists of its 2005 Innovation Awards. Winners and finalists will be recognized at FileNet's user conference in Las Vegas, Nov. 6-9. Customers and partners from five industry categories submitted entries for Best Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution and Best Business Process Management (BPM) application or solution.

Two insurance companies have been nominated in the ECM category. The insurers are Allstate Insurance Co. Specialty Operations and American Family Insurance. In the area of best BPM application or solution, MetLife Auto & Home Insurance is one of three nominees and the only insurance carrier in the group.
