With the goal of obtaining uniformity in insurance regulation, addressing concerns expressed by the industry, and protecting consumer interests, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners has developed a central online location to report suspected fraud. The Online Fraud Reporting System (OFRS) for the insurance industry also provides a list of the states that have mandatory reporting requirements and immunity provisions.
OFRS is available on the NAIC web site, www.naic.org.
