ISO's Insurance Information Exchange (iiX) unit, an underwriting information provider, has reached a marketing agreement with Agency Computer Systems, Inc. (ACS), that offers insurers access to iiX's underwriting solutions through ACS's rating software.
Under the agreement, iiX's suite of products, including A-PLUS auto and property claims history, credit scoring, and motor vehicle records (MVRs), can be accessed using ACS2000 for Windows. iiX supplies agents with auto and property underwriting reports, most of which are available instantly. Using ACS's rating information, agents can access iiX reports while quoting policies.
"As independent agents and carriers require faster and more reliable information, iiX is positioned to provide reports that help our customers manage their risks more efficiently. By making integration easier, ACS adds value to insurers by helping them manage their rating functions more efficiently and obtain underwriting reports," says Sean Quillivan, iiX general manager.
