Michigan Construction Industry Mutual, specializing in workers' compensation, has named Dawn R. Kynard claim manager. In her new position, Kynard will be responsible for the management of MCIM's claim department, including case/file management, budgeting, strategic planning, reserve analysis, performance review, and training and development of claim personnel.
Prior to joining MCIM, Kynard was a district manager for Frank Gates Service, a third party administrator in Maumee, Ohio. Before that, she was a workers' compensation and unemployment hearing representative at Ohio Compensation Service Management Corp.
