Guy Carpenter & Company, part of the Marsh & McLennan Cos., has appointed Michelle Harnick to lead the firm's Structured Risk Specialty Practice. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Harnick was an associate director and actuary at Swiss Re New Markets. She began her insurance career at American International Group, where she worked in the corporate actuarial department.
