The CPCU Society, the professional association for nearly 28,000 Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, has launched an advertising campaign to bolster public trust in the insurance industry and raise awareness of the value that CPCUs have to insurance companies' success. The campaign's slogan, “Defining Success,” emphasizes the necessity of employers' investment in CPCUs for their organizations and the society's commitment to ethics, education, and professional experience.

One of the new ads features Patrick Gallagher Jr., president of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., while Judith A. Blades, senior executive vice president of property and casualty for the Hartford, appears in the other. Both Gallagher and Blades address the role that CPCUs play in insurers' success. Beginning in June, the ads are being published in industry publications, including American Agent and Broker, Best's Review, Business Insurance, National Underwriter, Risk & Insurance, and Rough Notes.
