Hub International Limited today announced the acquisition of the assets of Employee Benefit Specialists Inc. (EBS), an employee benefits brokerage firm serving the state of Colorado.
Terms of the deal were not released.
EBS, based in Denver, will become part of Hub International Southwest, and will be integrated with HUB Southwest's Colorado employee benefits practice.
EBS provides employee benefits coverage to businesses throughout Colorado, generating approximately $2.2 million in revenue in 2004.
Alan Curtis, previously EBS' chief executive officer, will lead the benefits practice of HUB Southwest in Colorado and join the Chicago-based broker's best practices group for employee benefits.
