Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired Brokerage Professionals Inc. of Media, Pa.
Terms of the deal were not released.
Established in 1982, Brokerage Professionals is a full-service retail insurance broker providing commercial property-casualty, workers' compensation and risk management services, as well as a wide range of employee benefit consulting and administration and brokerage services to its clients in the Northeast.
The firm of 24 employees, including Patrick V. Larkin, founder, president and chief operating officer, specializes in the education, public entity, real estate, not-for-profit social services, construction, health care and transportation industries with a focus on mid- to large-sized accounts.
The firm will continue to operate at its current location.
