Former Alliance of American Insurers director of claims Kirk Hansen has joined MQVP Inc. as director of new business development.

MQVP Inc. is an ISO-registered information systems and quality management services firm based in Rochester Hills, Mich., providing supplier qualification and quality assurance tracking systems to members of global supply chains.

The Alliance merged with the National Association of Independent Insurers in early 2004 to form the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, and Mr. Hansen has spent the past year-and-a-half as vice president of insurer relations for IMACC, the Independent Mitigation and Cleaning/ Conservation Network.
