Shelly Diegel was elected chairman of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents' Company Council of Executive Officers (PIA-CCEO) for 2006.
Ms. Diegel is vice president, small business distribution at Zurich in Baltimore, and has represented Zurich Small Business on the PIA-CCEO since 2003.
The PIA-CCEO is comprised of senior insurance company executives committed to working to improve the agency-company partnership.
The PIA-CCEO was founded in 1996 with funding from the Alexandria, Va.-based PIA National. PIA-CCEO works to identify areas of opportunity in the agency-company partnership, facilitates dialogue between company executives and PIA leaders and conducts research designed to profit both agents and companies.
