NU Online News Service, Oct. 4, 2005 - AIG Consultants in New York, announced new wireless capabilities for an existing stand-alone service that assists businesses in preparing for and responding to crisis situations.

The program, Planning and Tracking Response OnLine, known as PATROL, is a crisis management tool that provides clients with access to a global network of leading providers of crisis preparation and response companies, enabling clients to order crisis-related services, and respond to an event while tracking developments on-line, in real-time.

With the new capability, clients are now able to browse and order services from a handheld, Web-enabled device or Blackberry, in addition to being able to log onto the system using a personal computer.

PATROL services include: business intelligence; investigation; employee protection; chemical and bio-terrorism planning and response; physical security; pollution response; workplace violence prevention and response; medical and political evacuation; public relations; and background checks.

The PATROL program also enables clients to stay informed of events that may affect their business through detailed, security-related news from around the world on the PATROL Web site.

"The new wireless capabilities underscore our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of PATROL clients by offering them access to our comprehensive services through widely-used remote technology," said Stephen Cook, President, AIG Consultants, Inc., a member company of American International Group.
