USI Holdings Corporation announced the acquisition of small group benefit general agent Dascit/White & Winston Inc. (DWW), formerly a subsidiary of Nemco Brokerage Inc., which is a subsidiary of National Financial Partners Corp., based in New York City.
Terms of the deal were not released.
USI said the acquisition is expected to contribute approximately $3.7 million in revenue to USI on an annual basis. The acquisition was made by USI's wholesale brokerage subsidiary Emerson, Reid & Co.
DWW distributes group benefit products to small businesses through third party brokerage relationships.
National Financial is a distributor of financial services product to high net worth individuals and growing entrepreneurial companies.
The Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.-based insurance brokerage firm said the acquisition would "well position" the firm to be "a leading provider of these services in the New York Metropolitan area."
