Hub International Limited said its regional office, Hub International Barton Limited, which services British Columbia, Canada, has acquired The Innovators Insurance Agencies Ltd.
Terms of the deal were not released.
The Chicago-based insurance brokerage said Innovators, a generalist insurance agency, founded in 1973, operates primarily in the Kootenay Region of British Columbia and is located in Cranbrook, B.C. Hub said the agency generated $1 million Canadian ($842,000 U.S.) last year.
Hub said Innovators would be folded into Hub International Barton.
