Thomas O'Dowd was elected president of the Professional Insurance Agents of New Hampshire Inc. during the association's annual meeting this week.
Mr. O'Dowd is president of the J. Clifton Avery Agency in Wolfeboro, Conn. He will serve a one year term as head of PIANH.
He was the group's president-elect in 2004-2005 and chairperson of PIA's Government Affairs Committee. He also is a member of the Nominations, Executive/Budget & Finance and Membership Committees.

oJudith George as president-elect. Ms. George is vice president of commercial lines for Lakeside Insurance Agency in Windham, Conn.
oGerald L. Guilbert, vice president. He is president of The Holt Agency in Milford, Conn.
oSteven Wainwright, secretary/treasurer. He is president of Wainwright Insurance Services Inc., in Gilford. Conn.
oScott Brown is immediate past president. He is owner of the Paige Insurance Agency in Pittsfield, Conn.
