Manna Joins Govt. Relations Firm
A former acting director of the Illinois insurance department, Deirdre Kenny Manna, is now working for the Chicago office of Dykema Gossett PLLC, a government relations firm.
As acting director, Ms. Manna regulated market behavior and financial solvency. She served as chairperson of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan Board and represented Illinois at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, Kansas City, Mo.
Ms. Manna also served as an assistant vice president with the American Insurance Association where she worked on issues including taxation, privacy, workers' compensation and financial services modernization.
