Ronald L. Alexander has been was named president and managing partner of Willis brokerage Knoxville, Tenn., operations.

He replaces Joe Ben Turner who retired.

Mr. Alexander has a 26 year career with Willis and its acquired partners. He joined Corroon & Black as an account executive, and was named vice president and marketing manager in 1986. In 1993, he was named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Willis' Knoxville operations.

Corroon & Black was acquired by Willis in 1990.
