Willis Group Holdings said it is opening a new office in Omaha, Neb., and hiring four former Marsh executives to run the office, underscoring the broker's expansion in North America.
Willis said it has hired Todd Malouf, Mike Welsh, Caroline Krueger and Cathy Bennett, all formerly with the Omaha office of Marsh. Mr. Malouf, Mr. Welsh and Ms. Krueger were named vice presidents, and Ms. Bennett was named assistant vice president.
In a statement, Mario Vitale, chief executive officer of Willis North America, in New York, said the firm is continuing its expansion in North America and the new office "strongly positions Willis as an emerging leader in the Nebraska insurance and risk management community."
