USI Appoints CSO

USI Holdings Corporation has appointed Andrew F. Catapano as chief sales officer of its Northeast region.

USI's Northeast region covers Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

The Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.-based insurance brokerage firm said Mr. Catapano joins USI with nearly 30 years of insurance brokerage and related industry experience. He was most recently a managing director at Marsh where he advised clients on accessing capital markets with regard to their unique risk and insurance needs.

Prior to Marsh, Mr. Catapano was the resident vice president at Alexander and Alexander, senior vice president at Johnson and Higgins, and Long Island manager for Liberty Mutual. He began his career as a sales executive with New York Life Insurance Company.
