The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America announced that Stacy Heatherington was named brand manager for Trusted Choice, the association's national consumer branding initiative.
"I am thrilled to have Stacy as the first brand manager for the Trusted Choice brand program," said Jeffrey A. Myers, the program's executive director. "Stacy brings a wealth of experience that, when coupled with her outstanding communication and marketing skills, will make her contributions to Trusted Choice very valuable to member agencies as well as the brand program overall."
IIABA said Ms. Heatherington will be responsible for keeping participants in Trusted Choice apprised of the program's progress and benefits and recruiting new agency participants as well as meeting with state association chairmen to develop new ideas, tools and resources to market the program to IIABA member agencies.
Ms. Heatherington was a marketing coordinator for New Vision Communications public relations firm. She was previously associate media director of TMP Integrated Marketing Communications, an advertising, marketing and public relations agency.
She also worked as small business solutions account manager for RMR & Associates, an advertising, marketing and public relations company.
Trusted Choice is IIABA's branding initiative aimed at educating consumers about the benefits of using independent insurance agents and brokers in their insurance decisions.
