Several coordinated attacks rocked London's transportation system this morning, killing and injuring an unknown number of people.
Early reports say the explosions took place in London's subway system and on at least one, possibly two buses. While the death toll is still speculative, reports say as few as two and maybe as many as 20 were killed. Injuries were reported at less than 100.
Transportation is at a standstill in the city.
Britain's Prime Minister Tony Blair, who is hosting the G-8 summit in Gleneagles, Scotland, has issued a statement condemning the blasts as an act of terrorism. He has left the summit to return to London.
