OCI, a computer information solutions builder, announced that it has created two Web-based products designed to eliminate the time delays and extensive hand-written paperwork typically associated with getting certificates of insurance and filing a first report of a workers' compensation injury.
Cheyenne, Wyo.-based OCI said its Certificates of Insurance is an online tool that creates, stores, issues and e-mails separate requests for liability or property certificates of insurance, endorsements, addendums and attachments, "giving instant access to the documentation critical to maintaining operations at a workplace."
In addition, the company's First Report of Incident (FROI) and OSHA Reporting tool helps employers collect the necessary information about an incident, which can then be submitted instantly to the claims administrator system, or sent to insurance carriers or third-party administrators.
With easy-to-use, OSHA-compliant forms, "employers can be assured they're collecting the right information and, by entering them electronically rather than by hand, reducing the risk that data entry errors will be made," said OCI.
