The Maine Bureau of Insurance announced it will hold three educational sessions on workers' compensation insurance for employers and agents.

Among the topics to be addressed at the sessions are a discussion of coverage and employer's liability insurance, a review of the declarations page (including other states coverage), claim settlement and policyholder's responsibilities.

The sessions are free and will be held on July 23, July 30 and Aug. 3.

Information on attending the sessions and registration is available through Brad Brown at (207) 624-8478 or Bradford.L.Brown@maine.

The programs are being offered as a continuation of the bureau's Get Smart About Insurance initiative that began in January.
