Jack Yelverton has left Marsh brokerage to join Willis Group Holdings to head its San Diego, Calif., operations as managing partner/ chief executive officer, the company said.
Mr. Yelverton's responsibilities will include identifying potential acquisitions, recruiting and assisting producers with organic growth tools for their San Diego operations, Willis said.
Mr. Yelverton brings 15 years of insurance experience to Willis, specializing in the technology and life sciences industries.
While at Marsh, he was responsible for leading the Industry Practices Group for their North American Western region, focusing his risk practice expertise within the directors & officers liability and general property-casualty areas.
