Jay Chappell was named chief executive officer of Willis Group Holdings Dallas office.
Mr. Chappell will be responsible for growing Willis' Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, operations, identifying potential acquisitions, recruitment and assisting producers with organic growth tools.
He joins Willis from Marsh brokerage, where he worked for 10 years. He was a senior vice president and practice leader overseeing the Marsh Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana operations.
