The Axiom Group today announced that Michael Hayes was named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Axiom Intermediaries, L.L.C.
Effective June 1, he will oversee the daily operations of the reinsurance intermediary.
Mr. Hayes will primarily be based in the group's headquarters in Stony Creek, N.C. but also will open an office in Connecticut as a part of the group's expansion into the northeast.
He has held previous executive positions at Lloyd's, Chartwell and Alea Group during his 30 years in the reinsurance industry.
