Frank T. Harrison has been named chief executive officer of Holborn Corporation, an independent reinsurance brokerage services firm, succeeding John N. Gilbert, who remains chairman and director.
The promotion of Mr. Harrison, who is also president and director of the firm, is part of a transition process as Mr. Gilbert prepares to retire (see NU News, May 26, 2004, "Holborn Aims At Keeping Its Independence").
The firm also announced the promotion of Paul J. Kneuer to senior vice president and chief actuary, and Michael D. Lombardo to vice president and controller.
Holborn, based in New York, said it employs more than 60 people and has revenues just below $30 million.
