Willis Expands In Poland & Ukraine
NU Online News Service, April 22, 2:10 p.m. EDT?Willis Group Holdings said the insurance brokerage now fully owns its subsidiary in Poland and has established an operation in the Ukraine.[@@]
The London-based firm said it has acquired the remaining 30 percent of the shares it did not already own of Willis Polska SA, its Polish subsidiary.
Willis Polska was established in the early 1990′s when the Central European markets opened up.
Also, today, the broker said it has established an operating unit in Kiev, Ukraine. Willis said that it will be a new operation consisting of a fully owned local limited liability company providing a full range of insurance services within Ukraine.
The office will headed by Vyacheslav Andriyko, managing director.
