VCIA To Host April 6 D.C. Meeting

NU Online News Service, March 24, 3:34 p.m. EST?The Vermont Captive Insurance Association announced today an April 6 seminar on captives to be held in Washington D.C.[@@]

Titled "Understanding the Strategic Advantages of Captives, Regardless of Market Conditions," the seminar will take place at the Willard Intercontinental Washington Hotel.

The seminar will be presented by panelists from a variety of captive insurance companies and will include representation from the Vermont Captive Division, according to VCIA.

The organization said representatives from two different types of captives will share their experiences. Presenters also will describe the captive climate and regulatory requirements in Vermont, the largest U.S. domicile.

The session will begin with an open quarterly board meeting of the association.
