Nicholas M. Brown Jr. Joins Q.Know Board
NU Online News Service, Jan. 11, 11:32 a.m. EST?Nicholas M. Brown Jr., a former chief executive officer for XL Capital Ltd. insurance operations, has joined the board of Q.Know Technologies Inc., a Reston Va.?based provider of information management software, the company announced today.[@@]
Mr. Brown retired as executive vice president of Bermuda-based XL. He joined XL Capital upon its merger with NAC Re Corp., where he was president and chief executive officer. Prior to joining NAC Re in 1996, Mr. Brown was with The St. Paul Companies, where he was chief operating officer of St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company
Mr. Brown also serves on the boards of Cybersettle, InsuranceVianet and Vocational Foundation Inc. He is chairman of the advisory board of Adaptik Corp.
Mr. Brown said, "Q.Know has created a simple, straightforward software that directly addresses managers' immediate need to gain complete visibility into the deal pipeline and transaction process by automatically capturing and filing all related electronic information, including e-mail.
