Gallagher Acquires Horton Insurance

Formed originally in 1983, Horton Insurance is a retail insurance broker offering risk management, commercial property-casualty, life and health insurance services throughout the United States.
The firm specializes in the construction, property management, public entity, real estate and hospitality industries with a focus on large, complex accounts.
Horton Insurance and its 22 employees will continue to operate in its current location under the direction of James J. Braniff III, South Central Regional Manager of Gallagher's Brokerage Services Division-Retail, the Itasca, Ill.-based broker said.
