Captive Ed Group Announces Courses
NU Online News Service, Jan. 12, 2:12 p.m. EST?The International Center for Captive Insurance Education announced upcoming courses dealing with how firms are financially rated and ethics.[@@]
A teleconference, "All About Ratings," has been scheduled for Feb. 2 from 1 p.m. to 2:40 p.m.
An expert panel, including captive owners and representatives from A.M. Best rating company, will explain what goes into the rating process, how it relates to captives, and what captive owners, managers and service providers should know about ratings, ICCIE said.
The course, which costs $125, or is free to ICCIE designation students, provides two CPE credits to those who take it.
ICCIE also announced that "Business Ethics in the Captive Insurance Industry," an online course, will begin Feb. 7.
