IASA Unveils
Meeting Agenda
The Insurance Accounting and Systems Association's Annual Education Conference and Business Show will be held June 6-9, 2004 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
IASA presents a comprehensive education program and business show targeted for financial and technology professionals in the insurance and financial services industry. The meeting's theme is “Passport To Your Success.”
New for 2004, IASA is presenting the “2004 CFO Roundtable” the inaugural education offering of IASA's newly developed “Executive Education Program.” The intent of the program is to enhance the effectiveness of IASA's education offerings by specifically focusing the content to the direct needs of IASA's executive-level members.
The CFO Roundtable, designed for chief financial officers within the insurance industry, will include:
o An examination of the effects of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act on CFOs.
A discussion of the advent of eXtensible Business Reporting Language and XML technology.
A presentation and interactive panel discussion on the evolving role of the insurance CFO.
An economic update.
A fraud presentation by Frank W. Abagnale.
