AutoOne Approved in Eight New States
NU Online News Service, Dec. 15, 3:00 p.m. EDT?Residual market insurer AutoOne Insurance has been approved as a servicing carrier to write personal auto assignments in eight new states and to write commercial auto assignments in three new states.[@@]
The Melville, N.Y. based company accepts assigned risks on behalf of its client insurance companies.
The company will begin writing policies for personal auto drivers in January 2005 in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, Delaware and Washington D.C.
It will accept commercial auto risks assignments in New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.
AutoOne has been approved as a servicing carrier for personal auto assignments in New York since 2001 and in New Jersey since 2002.
