By Mark E. Ruquet

NU Online News Service, Nov. 1, 2:55 p.m. EST?Willis Group Holdings said it plans to launch a twice weekly Webcast to bring the insurance and risk management community together to discuss issues impacting companies around the world.[@@]

The first Webcast will focus on "Executive Risks" and proliferating liabilities for directors and officers, on Nov. 4.

A session on Nov. 18 will focus on property issues including the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act, multiple hurricane deductibles, reinsurance and other related topics. Other sessions will follow, the London-headquartered broker said.

A spokesman for the brokerage firm, Dan Prince, director of communications, said the Webcast series is not related to ongoing investigations of the insurance industry by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and others, to create more transparency. He said the Webcast is another step in Willis' evolution of commenting on issues.

"This is the next evolution in sharing our thoughts based on our client advocate model," he said.

Details on call-in and Webcast can be found on Willis.com. Additional details can be obtained by calling the Willis Client Hotline at 866-704-5115 and asking for information on the Willis Thought Leadership Initiative.
