Sen. Nein Named Ohio Agent's V.P.

NU Online News Service, Nov. 17, 4:12 p.m. EST? Ohio state Sen. Scott R. Nein, R-Middletown, was named executive vice president of the Ohio Association of Insurance Agents/Independent Insurance Agents of Ohio.

In the association's number two staff position, Sen. Nein will assist in the overall management of association activities including oversight of staff and select association goods, services and programs, the association said.

A three term representative in the State's General Assembly, he was appointed to his Senate seat in 1995, winning election in 1996.

Mr. Nein is chairman of the Senate Insurance, Commerce and Labor Committees and a member of the Commerce and Labor Sub-committee. He is a licensed agent.
