Winkler Named Swett & Crawford Chairman

From 1975 to 1993, Mr. Winkler headed his own business, Insurance Brokers Service, until it was acquired by Aon, the Swett & Crawford parent company.
"Terry's leadership and wealth of experience is a tremendous asset for Swett & Crawford," said Tom Comer, Swett & Crawford's president and chief executive officer. "He will be instrumental in setting direction and growing franchise value."
Swett & Crawford uses open market and in-house facilities to place property, casualty, transportation and professional lines of business.
The group's products include directors' and officers' liability, professional liability, property risks, product liability, umbrellas, general liability, packages and commercial auto. The company has been in business for more than 90 years.
