Walther Named XDimensional CEO

NU Online News Service, Sept. 14, 4 :12 p.m. EDT?XDimensional Technologies, Inc., which markets agency management solutions, announced that Michael W. Walther has joined the company as chief executive officer and chairman of the board.[@@]

Mr. Walther succeeds company founder Craig Fuher, who stepped down from the CEO post in April, said Steve McKeag, COO for XDimensional. Mr. McKeag said Mr. Fuher vacated the post when it "became larger than his management skills could handle." The search for Mr. Fuher's successor, he added, began prior to April.

According to the Brea, Calif.-based XDimensional, Mr. Walther brings more than 20 years of corporate experience, including his last position as CEO of Centor Software, an XML application provider. In 1999, he joined Stamps.com as senior vice president of operations, leading the launch of that Internet postage offering.

Mr. Walther said his near term priorities include assembling "a select group of industry leaders to advise XDimensional's management and the Board."

XDimensional Technologies, Inc. markets Nexure, a Web-based insurance agency management system that connects agents, carriers, brokers and policyholders.
