Hilb Rogal Makes Sixth Acquisition For ?04
NU Online News Service, Sept. 9, 1:04 p.m. EDT?Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Company said it has completed its sixth acquisition of the year, bringing the firm's total acquired revenue to approximately $57 million.[@@]
As its sixth acquisition of the year, HRH said it has acquired Frank F. Haack & Associated Inc., a Wisconsin-based insurance brokerage firm and employee benefits consulting operation with offices in Milwaukee and Green Bay.
Terms of the transaction were not released.
The Richmond, Va.-based insurance brokerage firm also said it has completed the previously announced purchase of T.J. Adams Group, LLC, of Chicago, its fifth acquisition for 2004.
HRH said Haack, with revenues of more than $22 million in 2003, offers a wide range of insurance and employee benefits products and services, including property-casualty, managed care, risk management and claims analysis.
Haack associates will continue serving clients from their current offices under the existing leadership of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer William R. "Bill" Haack and President and Chief Operating Officer James R. "Jim" Mueller.
Haack will become part of HRH's Midwest region under the direction of HRH Vice President, Midwest Regional Director John P. McGrath.
Haack's sister company, Zywave, an insurance and employee benefits technology provider, is not part of the transaction and will continue to operate as an independent company.
