Trusted Choice Adds Company Members
NU Online News Service, Aug. 4, 1:18 p.m. EDT?Unitrin, Inc.'s three independent agent operating company segments have joined Trusted Choice, the independent agent branding program, Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America said.
The three segments are Kemper Auto and Home; Unitrin Multi Lines Insurance; and Unitrin Specialty Lines Insurance.
The Chicago-based company conducts business through six operating segments. The three independent insurance producer segments provide automobile, homeowners, commercial multi-peril, motorcycle, boat and watercraft, fire, casualty, workers' compensation, and other types of property-casualty insurance to individuals and businesses.
The company, with $8.5 billion in assets, provides p-c, life and health insurance, and consumer financial services.
Trusted Choice, the Alexandria, Va.-based IIABA association's consumer marketing campaign, now comprises 26 national and regional insurance company partners, InsurBanc, the IIABA's affiliated bank, and thousands of independent insurance agencies and brokerage firms, in its ranks of supporters.
