Fireman's Fund Eliminates CAO

The Novato, Calif.-based insurer said Mr. Lundgren left the company to pursue new opportunities. The role of CAO has been eliminated from Fireman's Fund as a result of organizational streamlining efforts, the company said.
Mr. Lundgren joined Fireman's Fund in 1999 as the chief human resources executive. In 2001, he was elevated to the role of executive vice president and elected to the Board of Directors.
In a statement, Jan Carendi, chairman of the board, called Mr. Lundgren "a great asset" and said that he appreciated "his energy and passion."
"I'm confident that Dave will have a future filled with exciting opportunities," he added.
