AMS Holding Renames Itself

The holding group is the parent organization of AMS Services, AMS Rackley, Silver Plume and Allenbrook, said Windsor, Conn.-based Vertafore. Each of these business units will continue to operate "largely independently with discrete branding and marketing solutions."

The company said the new name will be used as "the umbrella brand at the corporate parent level as the business moves to expand into new arenas within insurance software and services."

According to Kathe M. Donlan, marketing director for AMS Services Inc., also based in Windsor, Conn., the business units will retain their current names.

"By renaming the parent organization, we are liberating the individual brands to better function in the market," said Euan Menzies, chief executive officer and president of Vertafore. "Going forward, we can now expand our business into new areas without diluting the tremendous value we enjoy with our existing brands," he added.

"Vertafore will seek to grow both organically and through the addition of leading franchises to our existing group of companies," he said.
