Quanta Names Fishman U.S. President
NU Online News Service, July 23, 3:09 p.m. EDT?Robert M. Fishman was named president of U.S. insurance operations for Quanta U.S. Holdings Inc., a subsidiary of Quanta Capital Holdings Ltd., based in Bermuda.[@@]
Mr. Fishman will have overall responsibility for Quanta's specialty underwriting operations in the United States. He will be based in the company's U.S. headquarters in New York.
Mr. Fishman served as executive vice president and chief underwriting officer for Zurich North America. From 1992 to 1994 he was vice president and general manager for Lexington Insurance Company, a unit of American International Group.
Quanta U.S., through its operating subsidiaries, underwrites coverage for specialized and technically advanced classes of risk. These include professional liability, marine and aviation, environmental liability, fidelity and crime, commercial surety, marine technical risk property, and structured insurance.
