Farmers Names Chief Marketing Officer

He will be responsible for the Los Angeles-based company's marketing and sales efforts.
Mr. Cohen, 44, served as president of Farmers Financial Solutions, L.L.C., where he was responsible for starting the carrier's financial services division. He joined Farmers in 1997 as vice president of corporate development after a career in securities law.
Farmers Insurance does business in 41 states through 17,000 exclusive and independent agents.
