AIG Offers Small Firm Travelers Insurance

NU Online News Service, July 26, 3:23 p.m. EST?AIG Small Business, a casualty insurance subsidiary of NY-based American International Group Inc., recently began offering small and middle-market businesses a package of coverages for trips abroad that includes kidnap and ransom insurance. [@@]

The package, titled WorldRisk TravelPak, covers up to ten or less short-term overseas trips per year and up to ten employees per trip, and is geared toward manufacturing firms, financial institutions, and professional services companies.

The program will provide employees traveling abroad with coverage for liabilities including overseas travel hazards, non-owned and hired auto liability, and insurance potential kidnappings and ransoms, among other items.
