Ohio Casualty Announces Management Shakeup
NU Online News Service, May 11, 3:06 p.m. EDT? The Ohio Casualty Insurance Co. has announced the reorganization of its top management team, including the appointment of Michael Winner as the company's new chief financial officer.[@@]
Mr. Winner takes over the CFO post from Donald McKee, who is leaving to pursue other business opportunities, Ohio Casualty said. Mr. McKee will now take on a consulting role at the company, relating to his previous responsibilities, through Dec. 31.
Mr. Winner first joined Ohio Casualty in February 2004. He had previously worked at the Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Insurance, where he served as vice president of finance. Mr. Winner had also served as director of aggressive cost management and director of corporate accounting for Nationwide.
Other top-level management changes at Ohio Casualty, based in Fairfield, Ohio, include the appointment of Elizabeth Riczko as president of insurance operations, a newly created position reporting to the company's chief executive Dan Carmichael. Additionally, Ohio Casualty also named Derrick Shannon as the new senior vice president of the personal-lines division, succeeding Ms. Riczko in overseeing that area.
