Bush's Campaign Manager Kicks Off Conference
NU Online News Service, April 21, 9:34 a.m. EST? Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America said Ken Mehlman, manager of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney's reelection campaign, will be the leadoff speaker at their National Legislative Conference.[@@]
Mr. Mehlman is slated to address a gathering of young agents and state political action committee chairmen at 12:30 p.m. during a luncheon kicking off the conference today.
Additional speakers during the three-day conference include Rep. Richard Baker, R-La., chairman of the House's Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Enterprises Subcommittee; Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee; and Sen. George Allen, R-Va., chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
